The biggest myth of all is that there can be infinite growth on a finite planet. In 1961 the UN produced statistics to show that the world population was living within what nature could support. Since then the estimated level of resources and ecosystem services required to support human activities today is just over 1.7 Earths, fast moving to becoming 2 Earths by 2030. (reference). If everyone on the planet lived like the population of the UK we would need 3 Earths. That's pretty simple to understand; what we urgently need to do is slow down, stop some of our destructive habits and help nature recover. The companies and organisations featured on this site know this perfectly well, and yet they carry on with their destructive behaviour. Not only that but as you will see, they disguise it to make things look like they are not doing this. Watch carefully - it's not just the obvious things (like oil companies, and airlines) but banks, governments, shops and consultants.
And information about Bristol Airport .... this kind of 'evidence' is being used to support the expansion of the airport
